Brake Maintenance
Well-maintained brakes are vital for safe driving, as they allow you to control your speed and stop within seconds. As time passes, its components will slowly wear out or become damaged, and the brakes will be slower to respond. Other braking components, like brake pads, are consumables as they wear down as they’re used and need more frequent replacement.
We offer a complete range of brake services, including pad replacement, rotor resurfacing, master cylinder repairs or replacement, and a full brake system service. During this service, every system component is checked and tested, worn parts are replaced, and the brake fluid is changed. The system is then tested to ensure it’s fast and responsive.
Coolant Replacement
Your engine generates large amounts of heat, and this heat must be removed to prevent damage. Coolant is pumped through the engine to absorb this heat and transport it to the radiator for removal by heat exchange. The coolant also absorbs dirt, tiny metal fragments, and other debris as it moves, and eventually, this accumulated detritus causes the fluid to slow down.
Slow-moving coolant is less effective at removing heat, and your engine temperature starts to rise. In addition, if the coolant isn’t changed, it can become corrosive and cause damage. If the coolant is simply old, we drain and replace it. If the coolant has turned corrosive, we flush the cooling system with coolant mixed with a cleaning solution, then drain this mixture and refill the system with fresh coolant.
Alternator Repair
Most of the systems in your INFINITI depend on electricity, which is produced by the alternator. The alternator is powered by the movement of the serpentine belt, which causes it to spin at high speed to generate electricity. Alternators are relatively tough systems with few parts, but these parts can wear out, and this can cause problems.
A damaged rectifier, for example, can cut off power to all your vehicle’s systems. The rectifier converts AC to DC, which the electrical system depends on. Without this conversion, systems will draw power from the battery’s reserves, and this will cause the battery to drain and fail in less than an hour. Replacing a rectifier is quick and inexpensive, and the alternator will produce usable power once again.
