The 2024 INFINITI QX60 represents an entry into the extremely popular crossover SUV class that strikes just the right balance between superior road handling, modern cabin technology, and a quiet, smooth ride that leaves nothing to be desired. At our INFINITI dealership, we are seeing lots of enthusiasm for this ride from drivers all over the area. In our opinion, it’s not hard to see why, especially with the price tag that accompanies it.

Under the Hood

The QX60 boasts a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine with front-wheel drive and a double-overhead camshaft continuously variable valve timing control valvetrain with four valves per cylinder. The newest top INFINITI runs with the power of 295 horses and 270 pounds-per-feet of torque.

The transmission the engine is mated to is a nine-speed automatic and possesses manual-mode paddle shifters. At the wheel, you can choose from five different driving modes: Sport, Standard, Personal, Snow, or Eco. The QX60 base model PURE comes straight from the manufacturing factory, able to tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Inside the Cabin

All seats are trimmed with leather for easy cleaning, and the second and third seat rows are connected benches that can be folded down flat. All eight passengers inside the SUV are surrounded by nine premium speakers, and smartphone integration has never been easier. The infotainment system is housed by a 12.3-inch INFINITI InTouch™ interactive display screen, and you can also view your RearView Monitor via this screen.

New and Unique QX60 Features

Safety First and Foremost

Your onboard Blind Spot Warning system will make “blind spots” feel like a problem of the past, and you’ll be more aware of your surroundings than ever before. The Predictive Forward Collision Warning will be able to sense impacts before they happen, and this system can implement strategies to lessen the severity of an accident. With High Beam Assist, you won’t have to worry about blinding oncoming traffic on dark nights.

The Forward Emergency Braking system includes the ability to detect pedestrians and smaller obstacles as well. This will apply the brakes for you if you aren’t braking fast enough to avoid an impact. One of the trickiest maneuvers can be backing out of parking spots onto busy roads, and that’s why INFINITI made sure the Rear Cross Traffic Alert system was a standard feature on the QX60 base model.

It’s difficult to find a ride that manages deft on-road handling and such a quiet cabin when it’s large enough for eight people, but the QX60 has proven that “difficult” does not equal “impossible.” Schedule a test drive today with us here at Bommarito INFINITI. You’re about to meet your new go-to road trip and family outing companion!
